PH - Funny / Unique Signs



My photo for this week wasn't really a photo taken by me, but my sister. Seriously, I was planning not to join this week, but this morning, while on our way to a resort in Bulacan, my sister borrowed my cell phone to capture a picture of this bus garage. She's very much into buses, and since we don't pass by this road everyday, she really wanted to have a picture of it taken from our vehicle.

It wasn't a timed shot, she just aimed and shoot - hoping that shot will do wonders for her. Surprisingly, the cell phone captured this one:



... a painted phrase on a block of cement that says, "Bawal ang Tamad!" - english translation: "being lazy is not allowed." Nice, eh? Actually, each town in the Philippines has a a different, unique phrase or slogan, I just wasn't able to take pictures of it. Glad the cell phone was able to take this one, not only do I have an entry this week, I also have a reminder not to be lazy everyday. This isn't picture perfect - which made it truly unique in its own way.
