This is my brother with the green iguana, one of the many animals in Baluarte - an animal sanctuary in Vigan City (Ilocos Sur). One of the things I like about this place is that most animals can be touched and petted by the visitors. The interaction between the animals and the humans makes people understand what purpose these animals have.

Oh, how nice to see you again Jen! I haven't seen you in a while! It is always a delight to stop by! Great I!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great "I". Beautiful shot! Thanks for the smile!
ReplyDeleteNice photo...and a great animal sanctuary to visit...good I choice
ReplyDeleteI visited Mexico one time and found many of the locals 'wearing' iguanas. They are so fascinating.
ReplyDeleteAnother post of Iguana, good choice.
ReplyDeleteIt looks as if that iguana is really enjoying being petted. If he were a cat he would purrrrrrrr
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful face and lovely beaming smile! I'm afraid I was looking more at your brother's incisors than the Iguana!
ReplyDeleteTis a pretty little thing though. I think I'd like that sanctuary.
What a happy photo! I love iguanas, lizards etc. Fab shot x
