Kalilangan Festival Beauties

For this month's Ruby Tuesday meme, I am focusing on pictures taken on the Aliwan Fiesta 2009. It's an annual festival happening in Manila City, wherein different festivals celebrated in the Philippines gather together to form one big fiesta. For foreign readers of this blog, Aliwan is a word derived from the word "Aliw," meaning "Fun."




The actual parade started at 4:30PM, but because my friends and I ate dinner near the starting point of the parade, it allowed us to see the participants as they practice and prepare for the parade. After taking pictures of the floats, we saw a group of ladies from General Santos City (south part of the country). So many photographers in the area, so even if these ladies were just having some rest, we took the time to take pictures of them. Glad that they happily smiled for pictures.
