Bangui Windmills

This blog's back for some more Sky Watch Friday! Yey! I just love this meme so much I decided to post sky pictures in two of my blogs! More fun, more times to look up in the heavens and say, "Thank you God for the beautiful world!"

Bangui Viewdeck

This picture was taken 25 May 2008, during my road trip with my Aunt Julie. We were actually on our way back home, and although it rained hard as we approached the town of Bangui in Ilocos Norte, we were still lucky that the rain stopped as we reached the viewdeck of the now famous windmills in the town. The clouds surely got in the way and it was foggy all over. Taking pictures with the windmills in the background is certainly tough, but as I zoomed in to take pictures of the windmills, I was happy that the windmills can be seen. At least, I can say to people that I have been there! =)

Taken using my Canon Powershot A580 digital camera set to auto, without flash. Zoomed 4 times.

I love the softness of the picture. Nice to see it in this angle. Everyone else is taking the same angle over and over, so yours is unique.

Wonderful shot! And you caught the silhouette of a bird too just at the top. The sky makes you forget the windmills. God given over man made anyday! ;0)

This view is very similar to a photo I took of a windmill farm along the coast of Curacao! It was fascinating to see so many of them and encouraging to know that wind is being used as a source of power. Great photo!

Very beautiful! Thanks for coming by my blog. I was sad that you have never seen nor eaten a fresh peach! I'm sure there are many fruits/veggies in your country that I haven't had either, though. :o)

My daughter and I were fascinated with the pictures of the garden eels. Very cool!

Hey Jenn, your sea scene reminds me of a sea I had visited where there were sea salt 'milking' operations going on. That was in Sicily.
Happy Skywatching, thank you for peeking in on my clouds 'from the sky' pictures.
