M = Moon

Full Moon

I really don't know why I struggled with the letter for this week, but upon checking my files, I saw this one picture that I have wanted to share, yet I wasn't able to share. This moon was taken last May, when we went to the nearby beach because my Aunt Julie wanted to see the sun setting on her birthday.

As we were watching the sunset, the full moon is about to come out. Although the moon was still "nearer," my brother and I still had a hard time taking a picture of it because we only have a point and shoot camera. In our many attempts, this shot was made. My camera had 4 times optical zoom and 16 times digital zoom. This was shot at 16 times digital zoom. The moon was still small even with the maximum available zoom, but I guess we have captured it good.

Mid-week again.. ahh.. thank God for a new day!

I think that's a great shot - the orangey colour makes it so. It's called a Hunter's Moon, isn't it, when it's orange early in the year?

WOW
I wish I could take pictures like this with MY point and shoot camera.
Just proves it is not the camera but the person using it that produces great shots.
