Yearly during the Christmas season, the lighting of the Christmas Tree in front of the Araneta Coliseum is one of the things people living near the area look forward to. When I was younger, I remember this daily variety TV program that would always cover the lighting of the tree, complete with production numbers!
When the TV show ended, the lighting of the tree became lame, but year after year, there was a change of theme for the tree. Last 12 November, I met up with a friend in Araneta Center (Cubao, Quezon City), and because I was way too early for the meet up time, I decided to roam around the center to take some pictures, when I saw the tree. I gave it a quick shot using my cell phone. I am not sure if this one was a different tree from last year's (I didn't see last year's tree), but I think this one was smaller compared to the last tree I saw.

What a beautiful tree!
That is a large tree. The trees that get decorated every year, in the smallish towns around us, are not that big. But all trees dressed up for Christmas, anywhere, are still beautiful.
Merry Ruby Tuesday!

I love how people can park right under it.
They put up a different tree each year, or does it grow there?
