Hydrangea

Today's Flowers

Milflores

If there's one flower I wish to fill our garden it would be this, the hydrangea, or also called milflores here in the Philippines. My Aunt Julie has lots of these in her garden, and I really love how little flowers create this big bunch of flower.

This picture was taken on the Salcedo Village weekend market in Makati City. The price of the plant depends on how many the flowers are, how big the plant is, and the color of the flower. Typically, the most expensive are those that have dark purple color, and the cheapest were the white ones.

Por acaso, postamos a mesma flor.
No Brasil o nome popular da Hydrangea
é Hortência. Um beijo. lili

Those are very lovely hydrangeas. They are among my favorite flowers, as well. I have a large bush in my garden which bears blue flowers.

Great photo...and I love how you can change the color of the bloom by changing the ph in the soil!
