Mom told me the name of this plant is mistletoe, probably because it looked like the one hanging on doors during Christmastime, but I am not sure. I thought at first it was a berry plant! =) The late Aunt Dada gave mom a pot of this plant nearly a decade ago. This plant is very easy to take care of, and because the "berries" attract the birds, the seeds were scattered all over and they even grow on the wall! Sometimes, new plants springs in other pots and we had to take them out or else our whole garden will be covered with this plant!
I took this picture last year. I have no new "red" pictures, so I dug up my files. Taken using my Sony Ericsson K800i cell phone, set to auto macro, no flash. Thanks for stopping by.

Dear Jenn,
Those berries look delightful. Especially with the sun shining through water pearls.
I like that you too use your cellphone cam.
It's so very practical, always at hand.

Jenn, that's a lovely photo. I wonder why you
say you have a hard time photographing red? I love the way the berries are partly in focus and partly not.
I suppose if you upgraded from a cellphone camera, you would have more options for your shots. Keep working on it. Borrow someone else's camera, and see if it's easier to take red photographs with that one. I've been working on photographs with white, so the white doesn't look washed out.
The red berries and green leaves make this sooo Christmas colors. With any photo tool, be it a camera or a phone, take all the pictures you like.
There won't be many bad ones either way, but you will be amazed of all the good ones you will get.
The picture is great!
Very pretty red berries!
What a fantastic picture taken with a cellphone camera! I'm impressed! That's a beautiful plant with gorgeous red berries! Happy Ruby Tuesday! :)
The droplets of water are a really nice touch. Great entry this week!
I am here.
Beautiful photo. I love the framing and the light is so nice on the berries along with the water droplets. Another amazing cell phone photo. Impressive.
Beautiful plant. I hope the bees that visit that plant ain't as huge as the one I've posted!! :P
Happy Tuesday! :)
Very nice composition with the berries on both sides!
Very, very nice. I don't think I can get such a good shot with my cell phone. I'm impressed that you did! Happy Ruby Tuesday.
How very pretty! Could they be Hollyberry? I know nothing about plants. ;P

Great shot. I like the droplets on the berries.
Nice use of Red for RT.
Love the color in that photo. Great choice.
Hi Jenn..beautiful photo..I will just add that if it is mistletoe it is very poisonous to humans and to animals. I can't have it in the house with the cats.
My favorite colors - Red & Green! Love it! I'm amazed that you took this with your cell phone!
I am SO ready for winter and this photo is such a happy way to think about it.
Another amazing photo taken with a cell phone - Wow!
The colors are so rich and the droplets are an amazing detail.
Such a lovely shot! The colors are so crisp and vivid - very nicely done despite your camera limitations ;)
Love the mist of water on the berries.
