Ostriches

Ostriches

Of all the animals in Baluarte, in Vigan, Ilocos Sur, these ostriches have to be the freest of all! They can walk all over the place, and if you're "unlucky," they might be in the path where you will walk on! I am very much afraid of big birds (mascots included) because of their beaks, and no way in the world will I get near these big birds!

Some of the ostriches are nice, but there's this one ostrich that's really cranky, that tourists aren't allowed to come near it, because it might snap. No worries, even if the ostriches are roaming freely, the place's staffs are all over to watch over the animals and to ensure the safety of the tourists as well.

I am starting to miss this place. I hope this October or November, I will be able to see the place again. Have a great Sunday everyone!
