Of Different Hues

hues

This picture was taken on the same day as the one I shared last week, although in a different location - this was a little bit to the left of the picture last week. Anyway, wind was a bit cooler, and skies are slowly turning gray - but I was so interested with this part of the sky because when majority of the skies have turned gray, this part still had some light colored clouds.

The rain fell a few minutes after I shot this one, it fell hard, but the wind made it not stay for long. one hour later, and the sun was back. Happy weekends everyone!

Interesting with the power lines. They remind me of the game 'Cats Cradle' :)

Happy Skywatching!

very beautiful capture, wonderful choice for swf.

thank you for your visit and kind comment. for that shot i used a nikon D80 (just tried the camera). i use a canon 350d. i edited this picture with a program called photomatix and it's a special technique called HDR. and after that, photoshop, as i do for all of my shots

Beautiful - I always find it fascinating how clouds can have different shades of colour depending on how the light catches it.

What looked at first like a simple picture at first as so much going on when studied... apart from the clouds and shade/colouring... my eyes are drawn to the wires and thepatterns they make...

The sky looks as if it isn't sure what it wants to do.

Hi Jenn! Thanks for your comment about my rainbow picture. I was looking through my I-Photo pictures to find a picture to put on Sky Watch and came across that picture that I have always loved.

Skywatch makes me inspired to take more pics of the sky!!

Oh - I looked at your blog and really like yours too! Love the shades of color.
