After saying a prayer for my dad's soul and after talking to him for a while as I wait for the candle to burn out, I got up to go to the rest room, as I walk, I noticed this dried tree and thought it was so interesting to see a dried tree when all the rest of the trees in the area pretty much breathes life. What made me more interested was that I am at a cemetery!
Taken 24 October in Forest Lake en Cielo cemetery - San Juan, La Union.

Beautiful shot Jenn!
Life and death they are one!
It's so peaceful
Great shot, Jen!
This is such a wonderful photo and well as your words!
I find trees without leaves to be both sad and touching - and always beautiful.
You captured all that!
A very still image.
That one tree certainly sticks out from the rest. Like a very old man standing amongst a group of youths. The same way it has a special beauty in each of the nooks and crannies on its trunk as an old person has in the wisdom of his eyes.
