This was taken last 02 January 2009 in EDSA Shrine - Ortigas. I was to meet the sister of a blogging friend and since we were already in Ortigas, might as well drop by the church to say a prayer as I haven't set foot in the said church.
After meeting with Ms. JenL at a mall near the church, my sister and I got lost (in a way) inside the mall, but it proved to be a blessing as we exited towards the back part of the church. From there we decided to check out the rooftop of the church - curious as to what the stairs are for. The rooftop not only has a great stations of the cross, it also had some lush greenery, and among the plants there was the lantana. I was amazed to see different colors coming from one plant so I took a picture.
Then, sister and I left to carry on with the day.

Great shot of the lantana! Lantana has such a different aroma but I really like it. :-)
A beautiful and vibrant image!
Love your picture of this lantana plant.
Very pretty colours..
Lantana's aromatic flower clusters (called umbels) are a mix of red, orange, yellow, or blue and white florets. Other colors exist as new varieties are being selected. The flowers typically change color as they mature, resulting in inflorescences that are two- or three-colored.
The lantana has fascinated me since childhood. They do not like frost, but are so wonderful. Wish I could grow them up here in Seattle. Nice photo!
Jenn, wonderful flowers, wonderful colors!
Fantastic post!
Thanks
Luiz
Lovely bright Lantana Jenn, nice shot.
Pretty shot of the lantana! The colors are great.
This is a wonderful photo! I like the way the two blossoms in the background are in soft focus, leaving the one in the front to be the star of the show!
And all the colours!!
Thanks for sharing!
