Marigold

This month on Today's Flowers, I will feature flowers from Cebu City (Cebu) and Tanjay City (Negros Oriental).

This marigold plant was one of the many flowering plants in the Gawad Kalinga Village in Talamban, Cebu City. Before the Singles for Christ International Conference started, there was a program for Gawad Kalinga, and since we arrived in Cebu earlier, we dropped by the village to take part of the program.

I shot this picture just before we left the village. It was a bit difficult to take a picture because wind was blowing hard and I was using a new camera that is having problems focusing on macro shots, so this picture was lacking some composition.
