Mula nang maging interesante ako sa potograpiya, marami-rami na rin akong nakuhanang litrato. Karamihan ay hindi naman talaga magaganda, ngunit pangit man o hindi, lahat ng mga litratong nakatago sa aking mga CDs ay mahalaga sa akin.
{Ever since I started being interested in photography, I have taken quite a lot of pictures. Most of the images aren't really that great, but no matter how ugly or beautiful the images are, all are important to me.}
Mahirap mang mag-isip kung anong litrato talaga ang pinaka-paborito ko, hindi ako nahirapang magsabi na ito ang aking paborito nang malaman kong ito ang tema para sa linggong ito. Kuha ito nito lamang ika-11 ng Marso, nang kaming magkapatid ay pumunta sa Pier 13 (Manila South Harbor) upang bisitahin ang MV Doulos, ang itinuturing na pinakamatandang barko na lumalayag pa rin sa kasalukuyan. Napag-alaman kong ang barko ay idede-komisyon na sa isang taon at ito ang huling beses na dadaong ang barko sa Pilipinas, kaya hindi na namin pinalampas ang pagkakataon.
{It's hard to think which image is my most favorite, but upon knowing the theme for this week, it wasn't that difficult for me to say that this was my favorite. I took this last 11 March, when my sister and I went to check out MV Doulos, the oldest still sailing passenger ship. I learned that the ship will be de-commisioned next year, so when I found out that it was in the Philippines, we made it a point to check out the ship.}
At siyempre pa, sobrang ma-drama talaga ang kuhang ito dahit nag-aagaw ang araw at gabi. Salamat, lady Doulos!

Jes - I don't own a DSLR; I used my Canon Powershot A1000 IS point and shoot digital camera for this.

Tama ka, may element of drama nga sa litrato mo. Many years ago ay naka-akyat din ako sa M/V Doulos nuong dumaong ito sa Legaspi City. Nakakalungkot at hindi na ito muling lalayag ulit.
