First up, I wanna greet everyone Happy Easter!
Continuing the critter post captured while I was in my Cebu / Negros Oriental trip last February. This frog was one of the interesting critters I saw when we went to the Gawad Kalinga village in Tanjay, Negros Oriental. I was asked by the SFC Qatar members if I could be their photographer and while taking their pictures using Jill's camera, I spotted this frog by the garden. I wanted to take a picture of it, but it hopped and hopped. Chasing it led me here, by the pile of rocks.
I didn't want it to hop anymore, so I took it's picture from behind. Using my own point and shoot camera, I was just relieved and happy that I was able to shoot before it hopped away. I guess the frog was just a little too shy for pictures. =)

turned his back on us but a great shot - lots of textures..Sandy
Great photo..
I like the pattern on his back..
He's sort of cute and very deceptive looking.
nice capture. happy easter!
Are you sure he is not a prince? Be nce to him just in case.
Frogs are not an easy subject to photograph... you did well getting as close as you did!
Got to be honest... this guy looks more like an ugly toad than a frog... the frogs around here are cute little green things. Maybe Amanda is right - he could be waiting for that kiss to turn him into a charming prince!
Great shot though.
