Turn Back the Hands of Time

Circa 1890s

First time to join Monochrome Monday. I was looking for a picture in black and white, but the ones I have aren't that good - I rarely use the black and white function of my digital camera, and since I saw that Monochrome Monday accepts pictures in sepia tone, I decided to share this.

This was taken last March, when me and my siblings went to Vigan City, Ilocos Sur. I learned before we went there that there's a photo studio along Calle Crisologo (Crisologo Street) that lets customers wear clothes from the Spanish era. The photo was expensive, but the experience was well worth it. The clothes we were wearing was how the people back in the 1800s dress like.

Next week, I will share pictures I personally take.

Something different - a brand new sepia in period. Nice.
The dress is very striking.

This is a very exotic image. I like the clothing that you are all wearing and I like the sepia colouring. Nice post ...
